Birth: 1891 Bringelly NSW, Australia Death: 8 October 1915 (age 24) Army Field Hospital, Liverpool, NSW, Australia Cemetery or Memorial: Rossmore Cemetery Rossmore, NSW Father: John George ALLEN (29 June 1859 - 14 May 1901) Mother: Hannah COGGINS (9 October 1864 - 1 August 1950) John gave his occupation as Labourer when he enlisted 14 September 1915 at Warwick Farm, and his next of kin his mother Mrs Hannah Jones of Bringelly. He served in the Training Squadron Light Horse Depot A.I.F. His cousin Albert Butler Coggins served in the A.I.F. in France. Trooper John Butler ALLEN died from Meningitis on 8 October 1915 at the Army Field Hospital Liverpool, NSW age 24. |
